Karen Stirling

Karen Stirling brings over two decades of experience as a leadership coach, consultant, and advisor to senior executives. She’s recognized for her asset-based approach, fundamental understanding of business, exceptional listening skills, adaptability, and genuine vested interest in her client’s success.

Karen has provided consulting and coaching services to clients representing multi-billion dollar for-profit and philanthropic organizations, academic institutions, and nonprofit organizations within a broad range of functional areas, including IT, HR, finance, investments, law, R&D, program and product development, License and Acquisitions, sales, marketing, and operations.

As a trained and impartial advisor, she can help executives navigate and see clearly when faced with increasing demands on their leadership and management capacity. She leverages relevant resources and offers strategic guidance to broaden their perspective and help clients bridge the gap between where they stand and where they need to be. Her approach suits the unique aspects of each situation and individual.

Karen’s consulting work includes management studies, environmental scans, and team effectiveness analyses to help business leaders overcome obstacles and effectively manage change. Her work has helped clients successfully navigate the integration of new departments, align staff, and drive restructuring initiatives. She’s also assisted with designing and implementing programs that foster a more collaborative corporate culture while better leveraging organizational talent.

Earlier in her career, Karen held roles as administrator of a multi-disciplinary physician center along with corporate researcher and associate at an executive search firm, to name a few. She’s managed strategic planning, budgeting, project management, staff onboarding and development, client acquisition, and relationship management—navigating many of the same challenges her clients face.

Karen holds certifications in Courageous Conversations, Panoramic 360 5-1 Feedback, and the Hay Group Emotional Competence Inventory. She holds additional certifications from The HearthMath Institute and the Coaching Certification Institute. She’s also completed a six-week course on Conscious, Communication, and Change (C3) by the Institute of Noetic Science.
